Warranty FAQs
What does the warranty cover?
We guarantee that your TRAILWORX trekking poles are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. If something goes wrong due to manufacturing or materials, we’ve got you covered.
Do I need to register my product?
Yes. Warranty coverage requires registration within 30 days of purchase using our product registration form.
How long is the coverage?
TRAILWORX trekking poles are backed by a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship from the original purchase date.
What is not covered by the warranty?
Conditions not covered include damage caused by normal wear and tear (for example worn tips, scuffed shafts) or by misuse (using the poles in ways they weren’t designed for). Alterations, extreme abuse, or commercial rental use will also void coverage.
Who is covered by the warranty?
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable. Proof of purchase is required to submit any claim.
What will TRAILWORX do if a defect is found?
If a defect in materials or workmanship is confirmed, we will attempt to repair the product. If repair isn’t feasible, we will replace it with a comparable item (or if no such item is available, issue a refund of the original purchase price), at our discretion.
Are there any limitations on liability?
This warranty is the exclusive remedy available for warranted defects. We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product. Other implied warranties that may apply under law are limited in duration to the term of this warranty.
Do I need to clean the product before returning it?
Yes. Gear must be clean before being sent in for evaluation or service. If the product isn’t cleaned, we may refuse to process the return.
What if my item is damaged through use (not manufacturing defect)?
Your TRAILWORX poles are built for adventure, but they’re not indestructible. If damage occurs from rock impact, falls, or unnatural loads, these are not covered under the warranty. In such cases, related service may be available (for a fee or via partner repair) but will be treated separately from the warranty process.
Who pays for shipping?
Customers cover the cost of shipping the item back to TRAILWORX. We’ll cover the shipping cost of the approved replacement.
